In Ireland we have been basking in the glory of the sun. The mood of the country is upbeat despite being in the face of a deep recession. I had this incredible urge to listen to Bob Marley and UB40 the other day because they seemed to be the soundtrack of a Finglas Summer. My childhood Summer's can be summarised by Bob, UB40 and this track from Mark Dignam's second album In A Time of Overstatement.

Great song. I heard about your heat wave. We had 105 degrees Fahrenheit or about 41 degrees Celsius. The humidity is awful. Enjoy the summer and the sun. Miss you. hugs, Kristie
