Donegal siblings The Henry Girls have a new official video online for their version of Elvis Costello's 'Watching The Detectives'.
For me the important thing about cover versions is that they have to be either a massive improvement on the original or be remarkably different to the original. The Henry Girls version of the wonderful Elvis Costello track 'Watching The Detectives' is both different and better than the original. The black and white video suits the 'film noir' theme of the song while the choreography and dance suits the theatrical nature of this version of the track. It's a superb video for a great song!
