Funding ... You In?

It looks like the Fund It/Pledge/Sponsor route to make an album is here to stay. However this method of funding the recording of an album isn't new! About 15 years ago I sent Nick Kelly a postal order for 15 pounds to enable him to record his debut album Between Trapezes. I got my name in the credits and the album is still one of my favourite albums ever. At the moment there are five Irish artists that I know of who are looking for your cash to make an album you might or might not like! It's a big ask of you the customer! Are you in?

The songs on Southern's Soundcloud page are really impressive. The sound reminds me a little of the indie electro folk of Halves. Superb music!
