The cover song on Friday honours the passing of REM as one of the best bands ever. When I think of all the songs I love from REM including Country Feedback, Turn You Inside Out, The One I Love, Drive, Walk Unafraid, .... the list is endless. One of the best songs from the album 'Green' is this song Hairshirt which Glen Hansard regularly performed during the last Swell Season tour of the US. Here he is performing in Atlanta the REM classic 'Hairshirt':
