List: Best Bands in Boyles [This Year]

I've been very fortunate to be part of something special in Slane village for the last 18 months. I've discovered some new great talent there and brought up some wonderfully talented people. Here's a few tunes from the bands who blew me away with their talent.

There have been some brilliant acts to play Boyles including bands like Arrow in the Sky, Saramai and the Swords, Shaz Oye, Wayne Brennan, Garry O'Brien and Resurrection Fern. Here's a few more bands who made a lasting impression on me:

The most naturally talented musician I've witnessed live ever is Kiernan McMullan. He is that good. I love his songs, he is a true performer and an amazing guitarist.

Last Friday Fling from Galway were one of the most entertaining bands I've caught live this year. I love the trad rock thing they have going but on some tracks they have a singer of real folk tradition. Fling come highly recommended.

Another band to make a massive impression on me and the crowd in Boyles were Jezzebelle. This band can perform and entertain.

Fiach performed in Boyles in April and he was amazing. His debut is still on rotation in my house.

A few weeks ago The Blue Choir headlined and they left a great impression in Boyles. A talented band with a great sings and killer tunes. Catch them wherever you can.
