Tribute to Derek Nally Concerts!

Derek Nally RIP was a much respected music promoter working for Whelans and The Village while also being a forefront of Irish music by managing Juliet Turner and Ham Sandwich.








A few weeks back Ham Sandwich announced a Tribute to Derek at his place of work Whelans for October 9th with special guests. So far those special guests include The Gandhis, the wonderful Pugwash and the legendary Blink! Tickets are €20!




However last week a 'Songs for Derek' gig was announced by Aiken to somewhat shadow the Ham Sandwich tribute. It is pencilled in for the Saturday before the Whelans gig and takes place in Vicar Street.


This is quite confusing from whatever perspective you look at it.
